Your Challenge & Tasks

At Mavie, we're on a mission to transform healthcare by providing holistic solutions that support individuals throughout their entire well-being journey—helping them stay healthy and get healthier. We're reimagining how people experience healthcare services, making them more connected, innovative, and accessible. To turn this vision into reality, we need exceptional talent—innovative thinkers, problem-solvers, and collaborative team players who are driven by a passion for creating modern healthcare solutions. As a fast-growing startup, we offer a dynamic, flexible work environment where you’ll have the freedom to bring your bold ideas to life, while learning and growing along the way.

We are looking for a curious and detail-driven Data Analyst to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. You will shape how we collect, track, and analyse data — ensuring it’s accurate, privacy-compliant, and ready to drive smart decisions. From building robust tracking frameworks to creating impactful dashboards, your work will help the business move faster and smarter.

Your main responsibilities

  • Composable Customer Data Platform (CDP) engineering

Design, build, and maintain our composable CDP leveraging Snowplow on Google Cloud to enable scalable, reliable, and privacy-compliant data collection.

Implement server-side tracking in Next.js applications to ensure robust and resilient event capture across user journeys.

  • Cross-domain analytics & attribution

Work closely with marketing and product teams to implement cross-domain tracking, attribution models, and campaign performance analytics.

Support measurement strategies by building consistent tracking plans and enabling insight-driven decision-making.

  • Schema design & governance

Define, validate, and manage custom event schemas using JSON Schema and Iglu.

Ensure schema evolution is handled cleanly and event data remains accessible and trustworthy in BigQuery.

  • Data engineering & automation

Develop data extraction pipelines from a variety of sources (SQL/noSQL) and deploy them as lightweight, scalable Cloud Run functions.

Optimize data ingestion, processing, and transformation workflows to support real-time and batch analysis.

  • Analytics & reporting

Design and maintain high-impact dashboards in Power BI and Looker that surface actionable insights to stakeholders across the business.

Deliver reliable, well-contextualized reporting on key metrics, including campaign performance, product usage, and audience behaviors.

What you need to be successful

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on modern data tooling and product-led teams.

  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing composable CDPs or event tracking systems (Snowplow preferred).

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and analysis.

  • Experience deploying cloud-native data workflows (e.g., Google Cloud Run).

  • Strong working knowledge of schema definition and governance practices using JSON Schema and Iglu.

  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Next.js and TypeScript, particularly for analytics-related implementations.

  • Proven experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Looker).

  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Dev).

  • Understanding of tracking methodologies (e.g., UTM parameters, cookie-based persistence) and digital attribution.

  • Solid knowledge of BigQuery and managing event availability within large-scale datasets.

  • Working proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.

What you can expect

  • The opportunity to develop and position our offerings on the market together with an innovative and purpose driven team

  • The chance to change the world for the better – we aspire to contribute to a healthier society with everything that we do

  • Dynamic entrepreneurial environment with the freedom for creativity and your own ideas. We want you to innovate, experiment, learn and disrupt

  • An open and transparent culture: we share candid feedback and communicate openly across the entire team

  • Innovative office space with a diverse global team (more than 15 nationalities)

  • Fully paid Klimaticket

  • Office food, snacks and drinks (fresh fruit, healthy brain food, tea and coffee)

  • Regular team events, both formal i.e. training and informal i.e. social events

  • Learning and development opportunities plus associated budget

Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Our salary range for this position starts at 45.000 €. Based on your experience and qualifications, our final offer will be a competitive market value-based salary.
