As Head of Order Processing, you lead an experienced order management team. You ensure efficient and accurate processes in quoting and order handling, making a key contribution to customer satisfaction.
Job Description
- Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as continuous development of the Order Processing team
- Promotion of a proactive, service-oriented, and responsible working style within the team
- Responsibility for cross-functional interface management (e.g., Sales, Logistics, Accounting, Product Management)
- Analysis of existing processes and systems to identify and implement optimization opportunities
- Participation in ERP/CRM-related developments and leading projects in the area of order logistics
- Ensuring legally compliant and regulation-adherent preparation, review, and processing of quotations and orders
- Responsibility for maintaining and approving relevant SAP master data (e.g. customer accounts, etc.)
- Accurate maintenance and regular settlement of commissions with sales partners and subsidiaries
- Coordination of the timely execution and documentation of international customer orders in compliance with applicable export regulations
- Monitoring incoming payments, releasing deliveries, and ensuring timely invoicing
- Processing of documentary transactions (Letter of Credit, Cash Against Documents), including timely submission of banking documents
Qualifications
- Completed commercial training with a focus on export logistics or a similar field
- Several years of hands-on experience in order and export logistics, preferably in an industrial, global business environment
- Proficient in SAP SD and CRM systems, along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a structured, independent working style
- Strong communicator with assertiveness and a collaborative mindset

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 4,000 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
