As Group Senior Expert (m/f/d) - Fill & Finish - Visual Inspection & Packaging (VI&P), you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our final product stages. You will provide expert guidance on Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT), VI&P-technologies while driving strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and innovation across our Vienna and Dessau sites. Your new challenges which will inspire you:
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (m/f/d) specializing in Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT), Visual Inspection & Packaging (VI&P), and primary/secondary packaging materials.
- Lead and contribute in strategic corporate initiatives supporting business objectives, including the development of new CCIT technologies, automated visual inspection systems, track & trace solutions and automated packaging lines.
- Provide expert support for routine production processes and lifecycle management of VI&P operations.
- Define, develop and implement corporate SOPs, guidelines, and standardized processes and equipment to harmonize operations across Vienna and Dessau.
- Implement decisions and strategies set by the Board and assess, review, and approve relevant corporate documents.
- Represent Octapharma in front of external organizations and suppliers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory standards (GMP for sterile drug products), and emerging technologies through benchmarking with pharmaceutical companies and suppliers.
- Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and international partners to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Your profile that will convince us:
- University degree in Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally within sterile product manufacturing.
- Practical experience with CCIT, Visual Inspection, and/or Packaging technologies is highly desirable.
- Project management or leadership experience is a plus.
- Proficient in English - German language skills are a plus.
- Analytical and goal-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and efficiency, combined with excellent collaboration skills in multicultural and international team environments.
- Willingness to travel rather frequently to other sites and suppliers.

The minimum gross wage according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for your new job is EUR 4,270.14. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and to your profile, which is why we are ready to pay wages higher than collectively agreed. This is a legal requirement in Austria which is not applicable for Germany.
