Description
Our client is a dynamic and high-performing company in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry with GMP-certified production in Germany. They are seeking an experienced and strong leader to head its Austrian sales operations.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic and operational leadership of sales in Austria
- Leading and developing the Austrian field sales team (currently 4 regional managers)
- Responsibility for revenue, sales volume, and market share in the pharmacy channel and a brand in retail
- Conducting annual negotiations with retail partners for in coordination with the German headquarters
- Developing and implementing national sales strategies and promotional activities
- Managing key accounts, pharmacy cooperatives, and pharmaceutical wholesalers
- Conducting market and competitor analyses, territory structuring, and potential assessments
- Organizing meetings, training sessions, and field visits
- Reporting to the company headquarters
Requirements:
- Degree in business, pharmacy, natural sciences, or a related field
- experience in pharmacy sales, ideally in cosmetics, OTC, or supplements
- Proven leadership experience in sales or field force management
- In-depth knowledge of the Austrian pharmacy and retail markets
