Founded in 1876 by Eduard Sacher, son of the legendary creator of the Original Sacher-Torte, Hotel Sacher Wien is a privately owned luxury hotel located directly across from the Vienna State Opera.
For almost 150 years, it has embodied Viennese charm and contemporary luxury, reflected in each of the 152 uniquely designed rooms and suites, as well as in the exclusive Sacher Spa.
Guests enjoy exceptional culinary experiences across our two à la carte restaurants – the Rote Bar and Grüne Bar – both awarded two toques by Gault&Millau. The Café Sacher, Café Bel Étage and Salon Sacher offer signature Sacher treats and light delicacies, while the Blaue Bar is known for its refined atmosphere and outstanding cocktails.
Hotel Sacher Wien seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, creating an unmistakable atmosphere defined by supreme comfort, impeccable service, and personalized hospitality.
