LEGAL CENTER OF EXPERTISE
You’ll be part of one of Red Bull’s Legal Centers of Expertise focused on Media, Marketing, and IT. Your role will center around becoming a trusted expert on legal matters relating to IT, Emerging Media (incl. Artificial Intelligence, VR, AR, etc.) and Media Monitoring. You´ll bear responsibility for the continuous development of already existing and the adoption of new technology related and digital business models, maintaining in-depth insight and delivering expert legal support - always aligned with internal standards and business priorities.
LEGAL BUSINESS PARTNER
As Legal Business Partner, you’ll provide hands-on legal and project support for initiatives across our diverse business landscape. You’ll proactively monitor, analyze, and communicate regulatory developments, translating them into practical advice that safeguards the business and fosters innovation. Additionally, you’ll lead and/or support the drafting, review, and negotiation of technology and media-related agreements, including but not limited to SaaS Agreements, Web/App Development Agreements and related contracts such as Data Processing Agreements, Media Monitoring Agreements, etc.
LEGAL PROJECTS & PROCESSES
In addition to providing legal guidance, you’ll be responsible for managing specific projects related to emerging technologies, coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure product and project development aligns with applicable digital laws. You´ll also support the implementation of legal processes for its internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with new legal developments and specifications/trends for the field of digitization (e.g. relating to Artificial Intelligence).
Qualifications
6+ years relevant working experience in IT law and related areas such as data privacy and copyright law
European law degree; if German law degree, I. and II. State Exam (“Volljurist”);
Profound knowledge in civil law and a keen sense for legal contexts
Certification in Data Privacy Law, Artificial Intelligence and Post-graduate degree (e.g. LL.M.) are of advantage
Interest and ability to analyze new technologies and innovative products from a legal perspective
Business fluent in English is required; Proficiency in German is highly valued
Pro-active approach and solution driven attitude
Structured and organized personality, able to maintain attention to detail and effectively manage priorities.
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 3,139 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
