Senior Medical Systems Engineer (f/m/x)

A job where you can make a difference:
- Participation in the development of a medical system used for ion beam therapy in accordance to ISO 13485.
- Supporting the specification, purchasing and installation phases of patient positioning and position verification systems.
- Supporting the design of the nozzle of an ion beam therapy system.
Skills that make you our strength:
- Academic studies (Masters degree or PhD) in medical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering or similar
- Experience in working with quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485)
- Project Management Skills is desirable
- Experience with patient positioning systems and radiation therapy workflows is desirable
- Work experience in medical device development is an advantage
- A strong interest in particle therapy and treatment planning and ideally experience in these areas is an advantage
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication in English language
- Willingness to travel in Austria and abroad
For the advertised position we offer a minium gross annual salary from € 46,781 (on a full-time basis) based on the classification in use group 4 of the collective agreement for white-collar workers in the metal industry, with the possibility of overpayment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
