In the team of the accounting department you will ensure the financial, administrative as well as efficient and timely control of accounts receivable accounting. You will be responsible for banking, collection letters, credit checks and regular customer contact. You will calculate provisions and advance payment collection and issue bank guarantees. In addition, you will support ongoing process optimization projects both at headquarters and throughout the Group. You ensure correct and timely reporting to external authorities and ensure the smooth running of accounts receivable.
What You’ll Do
- Manage customer collections and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding receivables
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Process bank bookings and cash allocations in a timely and accurate manner
- Book daily bank statements and monitor cash flow activities
- Reconcile main and sub-ledger transactions as part of the month-end closing process
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve invoicing issues and discrepancies
- Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently
- Conduct inter-company account reconciliations for the holding company and its subsidiaries
- Maintain customer master data to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities in coordination with the finance team
What You Bring
- Completed commercial education with a focus on accounting and several years of experience in accounts receivable
- Proven track record in an international work environment
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in customer collections
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; experience with MS Dynamics AX is a plus
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills and confident interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

We offer a salary in line with the market, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is € 2,471.00 gross per month on a full-time basis. Your actual salary will be overpaid in line with the market and is significantly higher than the minimum salary under the collective agreement.
