We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and drive impactful decision-making within the Austrian pharmaceutical landscape.
In this multifaceted role, you will be the driving force behind our commercial strategy, leveraging diverse datasets to uncover opportunities and solve complex problems. You will be instrumental in building robust business cases, developing accurate strategic forecasts, and providing comprehensive, insights-based pictures to the Squad Lead for their strategic decision-making and associated actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Forecasting & Business Case Development: Continuously refine and manage targeting models and forecasting approaches to enhance business predictability and accuracy. Develop and calculate solid business cases that support product strategy throughout its lifecycle, including peak share predictions and pricing scenarios.
Commercial Insights & Strategic Advice: Provide in-depth, data-driven insights to the Squad Lead, utilizing a wide array of data sources such as market research, CRM tools, customer engagement analytics, and competitive intelligence. Your analysis will directly inform strategic decision-making and actions.
Market & Competitive Intelligence: Plan, implement, and manage primary and secondary market research initiatives. Conduct ongoing monitoring and analysis of competitive insights to understand market dynamics and the competitive landscape.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
What You Bring:
University Degree (MSc, BSc, MA, BA)
Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to build robust business cases (e.g., Data Scientist or comparable roles).
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of strategic and operational aspects.
Excellent collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
Preferably, experience within the Austrian pharmaceutical and healthcare (HC) landscape or comparable roles in related industries.
You can expect an annual salary from € 50,000 gross (full-time basis), as well as a performance-related bonus. Flexible working time models, company restaurant and company health programmes are just some of the benefits. Depending on qualifications and experience, there is a willingness to overpay.
