We are looking for a passionate Information Security Specialist (f/m/d) to manage the operational aspects of our ISMS, coordinate information security initiatives, and address technology risk-related challenges across the whole organisation.
This is a full-time position, where you can work in a hybrid setup from home and from our office in Vienna.
Some of the things you’ll work on:
- Support the Information Security and Technology department in managing and operating the ISMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001.
- Assist control owners and risk owners in implementing technology risk-related initiatives.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and coordinate the agendas of the CISO and the ISMS team.
- Communicate with internal departments and external stakeholders on information security-related topics.
- Manage Supplier Security and Project Security, acting as a point of contact for the IT department.
- Provide expertise to legal colleagues and other internal stakeholders, including the CTO, CISO, and DevOps team.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with best practices, industry standards, and applicable legislation (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, SOC2, GDPR) by implementing appropriate changes and improvement measures.
- Prepare and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires, and Security Questionnaires from prospects and clients regarding all security matters.
We’re excited if you have:
- A university degree in a field related to Security, IT, or Computer Science.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in an information security-related role (e.g., Information Security Analyst, Cyber Security Consultant).
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC2, and GDPR, as well as relevant security certifications or training (e.g., CISO, CISSP).
- Experience in project management and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong motivation to learn.
- A big plus: Experience with Google Workspace and multi-cloud security.
