Project Engineer Mechatronics and Measurement

The position

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer for our Measurement Solutions within the Monitoring of Engineering Building Projects (e.g. Bridges), as well as Railway Engineering Measurement (e.g. Measurement systems of the Wheel/Track contact).

We are currently expanding the technical Team for the launch, delivery and finalization of the Monitoring and Measurement systems and are therefore looking for an ambitious technical profile to take this over.

Primary responsibilities

Initially, your main tasks in this function will be the technical management of the the Monitoring and Measurement projects for Research and Industry. Additionally, you will oversee and manage deadlines, documentation and reporting. Once you have received the appropriate training, you will also take over the configuration and installation of Monitoring Systems. After an onboarding period, you will also be supporting the acquisition of new projects and and thus take on commercial Sales responsibilities.

Professional qualifications

  • Higher education (FH/TU) within Mechatronics, Measurement Systems or a similar Field
  • 1-3 years experience in a technical role within a similar field
  • Previous experience in similar technical Projects
  • Naturally accurate in nature, with a high attention to detail
  • English and German at professional level or higher
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Austria and DACH
  • Programming abilities (e.g. .net, C++, php or SPS) would be advantageous
