Description
To support ICF’s dynamic growth and expanding client base, we are seeking an ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PROJECT SPECIALIST to work in our Health Science Portfolio. This group of 100+ science professionals provides toxicology, hazard assessment, epidemiology, risk assessment, exposure assessment, computational methods, environmental modeling, and related support that addresses the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals and microbes. We specialize in identifying and quantifying the effects of environmental pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds, on human health and the environment.
The Project Specialist's project work would support federal agencies, such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), in developing and evaluating traditional and computational approaches and new approach methods (NAMs) and providing support services to meet these goals.
**The preferred work location is Durham, North Carolina; however, the candidate may be authorized to work remotely. **
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 4 years of experience providing comprehensive logistical support for meetings, executive support for leadership, and strategic support and coordination for staff
