Are you a highly motivated and experienced planning expert with a passion for optimizing supply chains and building data-based solutions? We're seeking a Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
In this role, you'll leverage your deep understanding of planning methodologies (including supply, demand and production planning) to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment across our organization. You'll be instrumental in analyzing complex data and developing robust planning models (in Excel, Power BI and Anaplan).
Your Mission
- Develop, maintain, and optimize planning models and tools to improve both demand and supply planning and thus optimize inventory management
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks related to demand, supply and logistics, providing actionable insights to leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within the planning function, identifying areas for process optimization and system enhancements
- Lead and facilitate key aspects of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, production capabilities, and inventory targets
- Collaborate closely with sales, supply chain and product management to gather information, resolve discrepancies and ensure plan adherence
Your skills
- Solution Orientation: You are someone who sees a puzzle, not a roadblock and has the COURAGE to proactively solve it.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in a planning-focused role, with a strong background in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), production planning, supply planning, or demand planning.
- Exceptional data analysis skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA or other programming languages like Python for data manipulation and automation. Power BI skills are desirable.
- Experience in ERP and/or other planning systems (such as planning software Anaplan) is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English is key. If you can hold a basic conversation in German, that's great! If not, we will get by

For this position, we offer you a gross monthly salary starting at EUR 3.500,- on a full-time basis. Of course, we take into account your individual qualifications and experience and are willing to pay an appropriate overpayment. We will be happy to discuss details in person.
