Your responsibilities:
- Supporting the development of an Integrated Management System (IMS) for roundwood procurement
- Responsibility for the PEFC and FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) Due Diligence System in coordination with group functions
- Monitoring EUDR compliance (EU Deforestation Regulation) in roundwood procurement in close alignment with group functions
- Implementing the Supplier Code of Conduct and coordinating supplier and service provider registration together with the roundwood procurement administration
- Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits related to IMS and CoC in roundwood procurement
- Performing on-site audits of suppliers and service providers in the case of standing stock purchases
- Carrying out risk assessments of suppliers
- Responsibility for the SURE certification (for RED compliance) in collaboration with the production sites
- Supporting buyers with relevant documents, materials, and information
- Close cooperation with various departments along the entire supply chain
- Co-developing CO₂ reduction measures across the supply chain (Scope 3 emissions)
- Providing support to the business unit on various sustainability-related topics
Your qualifications:
- A university degree or alternatively a secondary school diploma (Matura) with at least 5 years of practical experience in the forestry or wood industry
- Knowledge of ISO management systems and forest certification schemes (FSC, PEFC) – or a strong willingness to acquire this knowledge quickly
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Fluency in English; German and/or Czech is a strong advantage
