Your personal sphere of influence:
As a University Assistant (Praedoc), you will work at the Institute of European Ethnology, which is very well- connected with universities and cultural institutions in Austria and internationally. You will collaborate with colleagues engaged in a wide range of research and academic teaching, contributing to a vibrant environment of research groups focusing on ethnography, materiality, urban/spatial studies, and multimodal/audiovisual research established at the institute.
The topic of the dissertation should fall within the fields of ethnographic representation research, praxeological media research, methodologies of the anthropology of knowledge.
The employment duration is 4 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 4 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a non- extension declaration.
