What to expect
- Enrich or extend the teaching and research of the Institute for Production Management.
- Contribution to the English-language BSc program in Business and Economics (course in Business Analytics) and MSc program in SCM (courses in advanced Analytics, OM and SCM)
What you have to offer
- Doctoral degree or PhD with significant depth in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years professional experience at a recognized university
- Research record as evidenced by publications in scientific OM and SCM journals
- Potential shown to acquire and execute competitive research projects, collaboration with industry partners is expected as well
- Teaching experience in English and/or German with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching
- Research interests in OM, SCM, or circular supply chains,
- Willingness to use multimedia teaching methods: You are prepared to use multimedia teaching and learning formats.
- Preference will be given to candidates applying the relevant descriptive and/or predictive and/or prescriptive methods to contribute to the current research profile of the institute in Operations Management (OM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM). The relevant research areas include, for example: AI application to process improvements, integrated supply and demand management, production planning and control, supply chain planning and control and circular supply chains.

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €4,932.90 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on equivalent prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
