💼 The Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Event Assistant (student) to help us run our in-house event space. You’ll be the friendly face guests see first, the organiser who keeps every detail on track, and the hands-on helper making sure the space is ready and the tech is working. This role is perfect for someone who loves logistics, enjoys meeting people, and wants to be part of the team that creates great experiences.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Office & Culture team, and play a key role in making events at fiskaly smooth, welcoming, and well-run.
🛠️ What You’ll Do

Keep our internal event calendar up to date and confirm bookings

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers

Act as point of contact for guests, speakers, and partners before and during events

Set up the space — seating, signage, staging, and décor

Prepare and check AV/tech equipment (projectors, mics, streaming setup)

Greet attendees and manage registration/check-ins

Handle last-minute needs like layout changes or catering updates

Tidy up the space, store materials, and report any issues

Gather quick feedback and share takeaways with the team
👀 What You Bring

Currently enrolled in university or Fachhochschule (ideally with 1+ year left)

Strong organisational skills, you love checklists and timelines

Friendly, confident communicator in German and English

Hands-on attitude and willingness to help with physical tasks (e.g. moving chairs)

Comfortable with or eager to learn AV/IT setup

Availability for occasional evening/weekend events (we’re flexible during exams!)
