Group Sustainability Trainee

YOUR TASKS:
- Support Sustainability Initiatives: Assist in developing and implementing corporate and product sustainability strategies, ensuring alignment with standards like GRI, CSRD, ISO 14001, EcoVadis and CDP.
- Communication & Reporting: Prepare engaging presentations, reports, and visual content to communicate sustainability goals and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Environmental Impact Analysis: Support Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF), Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculations to evaluate and improve corporate & product sustainability.
- Data Management & Quality: Maintain sustainability databases and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools.
- Project & Research Support: Coordinate sustainability projects, support audits and certifications, and stay up to date with industry trends and benchmarks.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:
- Educational Background: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a scientific, economic, technical, environmental, or packaging-related field.
- Practical Experience: Gained initial hands-on experience through internships, student projects, or part-time roles.
- Sustainability Knowledge: Basic understanding of corporate sustainability, ESG frameworks, and environmental regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Analytical, proactive, well-organized, and comfortable working independently and in teams; fluent in English, with German as an advantage.

Hours: 20-25 Hours / Week
Compensation: according to the collective bargain agreement of the metal industry.
