Join PALFINGER’s Global After Sales Organization as a leader in driving strategic project management excellence. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the project management department, set clear goals, and ensure the successful delivery of initiatives on a global level. You will play a key role in aligning service deliverables across the Product Development and Customer Project Processes (PDP/CPP Swimlane) and managing service-related projects worldwide. Working closely with and under the strategic guidance of the VP Global After Sales, you will ensure alignment with PALFINGER’s long-term strategies and business objectives.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of After Sales Project Managers by setting clear goals, providing direction, and evaluating performance to ensure effective project delivery
- Oversee the Swimlane Service team across all product lines, ensuring alignment of service deliverables within the Product Development and Customer Project Processes
- Establish and strengthen a robust project management structure for service-related initiatives, focusing on transparency, efficiency, and successful project execution, with clear documentation in SmartSheet
- Drive tendering, contract negotiations, and the definition, facilitation, and management of global service projects within the After Sales organization
- Collaborate across departments, including Service Management, Service Software, Documentation, Customer Support & Warranty, Spare Parts, and After Sales Business Development, to ensure unified service delivery
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields
- Several years of experience in After Sales, ideally in global operations or projects with a proven record of leadership skills
- Proficiency in methodologies (e. g. Agile and Waterfall) and tools for structured, efficient execution of initiatives (e. g. Smartsheet)
- Strong organizational and communication abilities with a customer-focused and team-oriented approach to drive change and projects
- Fluent German and English skills; willingness to travel globally

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 59.766,98 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
