Project Manager
ICF is seeking a Project Manager to support science and engineering innovation programs at the National Science Foundation (NSF). Your work will contribute to enabling the U.S. to uphold its leadership in innovation in science and engineering.
Job Location: This role is hybrid in Alexandria, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement projects for an NSF directorate.
Oversee strategy implementation, daily operations, task progress, logistics, performance, and deliverables of specific directorate efforts and/or programs.
Ensure quality and timely delivery of tasks and deliverables, including those assigned, developed, and implemented by support contractors.
Serve as the point of contact for technical program management tasks and deliverables.
Manage day-to-day operations of the directorate, division, sections, or program tasks requested by the federal team.
Collaborate closely with federal staff responsible for identifying and overseeing requirements.
What You Will Bring With You:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Minimum of 10 years of management experience.
BS/BA degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
What We Would Like You To Bring With You:
Master’s or PHD degrees in equivalent education
Demonstrated skills and experience in project management and strategy.
Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools and systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Professional Skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain effective communication channels with federal technical staff and technical programmatic personnel.
Strong multitasking abilities, familiar with a fast-paced environment.
