Microsoft’s Health and Life Sciences team is dedicated to empowering healthcare organizations to achieve their goals and improve patient care. The HLS Platform team aims to create an efficient and connected healthcare ecosystem built on the Microsoft Cloud, empowering everyone across the healthcare journey to collaborate, communicate, and innovate together to provide better experiences for clinicians, staff, and patients.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Dax Core team, a strategic part of the HLS Platform. This role is central to reducing clinician effort and enhancing patient outcomes by integrating AI into daily workflows with minimal friction. The team operates in a fast-paced, learning-rich environment at the forefront of AI development, focusing on integrating cutting-edge solutions rather than building them from scratch.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of AI-integrated services that streamline clinician workflows. You will collaborate across teams to ensure production-grade quality, scalability, and security in healthcare solutions. Your work will involve applying software design principles, managing live site operations, and contributing to cross-team initiatives that deliver impactful AI-centric services for both internal and external Microsoft customers. While the team builds AI models, this role emphasizes integrating advanced AI capabilities into clinician workflows, leveraging Microsoft’s AI ecosystem and trusted third-party solutions to deliver real-world value in healthcare settings.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
