Experience Meets Responsibility – Securely Managing International Supply Chains Vienna FREQUENTIS AG From now on Full time : Share: ShareAs an experienced Global Trade Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with international trade and customs regulations. You will navigate complex regulatory requirements with foresight, establish structures, processes, and awareness, and serve as a trusted point of contact for business, legal, and government authorities. Key Tasks
- You oversee the overall trade compliance risk profile of the Frequentis Group and develop appropriate measures to minimize risks.
- You act as the process owner for all processes carried out by trade compliance-specific roles.
- You coordinate the trade compliance organization at the group level, harmonize standards, processes, and tools across legal entities, and thus avoid duplication of tasks and systems.
- You serve as the company-wide escalation point for Trade Compliance Managers and responsible parties.
- You continuously monitor regulatory and political developments in relation to the Frequentis Group's products and go-to-market strategies.
- You develop and deliver training and education programs for employees.
- Several years of solid professional experience in international export control and trade compliance – ideally in a technology-driven environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of European and international trade laws, including EU and US regulations on export and sanctions law.
- Experience in building and managing corporate governance structures and internal control systems across the group, as well as in applying for permits from authorities in various countries.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, high problem-solving competence, and confident demeanor in an international stakeholder environment.
- Proven lateral leadership experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
