Are you ready to shape the future of E-Commerce at PALFINGER? As Head of eCommerce (f/m/d), you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the strategic vision for our global eCommerce initiatives in close collaboration with the VP Global Aftersales. This leadership position drives innovation, performance, and continuous growth within PALFINGER's E-Commerce landscape, ensuring alignment with our business objectives. Leading a dedicated team and collaborating across departments and global partners, you will oversee the successful delivery of projects that push boundaries and create value for customers worldwide.
Your responsibilities
- Define and implement the E-Commerce strategy and roadmap in alignment with PALFINGER’s global goals; manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
- Lead and develop the E-Commerce team by setting clear goals, fostering cross-department collaboration, and ensuring stakeholder alignment
- Oversee the rollout of new shops, features, and updates while assessing technical feasibility for platform growth and advancements
- Define and track KPIs such as online sales growth, customer satisfaction, active users, and market coverage; report regularly and identify improvement opportunities
- Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and competitors to ensure an innovative and high-performing E-Commerce platform
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Several years of experience in (B2B) eCommerce or digital platforms After Saleswith expertise in managing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (CMS, PIM, ERP), digital tools (e.g., Google Analytics), Frontend and Backend technologies, APIs, and system interfaces; SAP and ERP knowledge is a plus
- Strong leadership and coaching mindset, proactive problem-solving abilities, effective intercultural communication skills, and a focused, results-driven work style
- Fluent German and English skills; willingness to travel globally

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 59.766,98 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
