As Junior Strategy Analyst you will help manage NXP’s M&A Funnel, organizing the global meeting cadence and owning the respective content preparation. You will have the opportunity contribute to hands-on operational and logistical as well as strategic levels.
The role reports directly to the VP Integration Management Office (IMO) and M&A Funnel Management, located in Gratkorn, Austria. The Junior Strategy Analyst must have the ability to work across several time zones and be able to support strategy and senior management discussions. This role provides an excellent springboard opportunity to develop business acumen and management skills through direct exposure to executive leaders at NXP and beyond.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with NXP's Executive leaders to advance investment concepts and NXP’s M&A strategy
Support regular meetings with internal Business Lines (BLs), Product Lines (PLs) as well as Key Functions and external stakeholders
Help ensure all possible inorganic growth opportunities are captured, new business partners, potential alliances and cooperation partners are identified
Support stakeholder alignment across the organization and the development of a comprehensive portfolio of inorganic growth opportunities for NXP in its fast-paced, complex marketplace
Profile:
University degree in finance, business administration, management and engineering or similar
Work experience in the field of Finance, Strategy / Management Consulting or the broader Semiconductor industry would be highly appreciated
Financial and business process acumen is expected
Network to industry as well as good connections into the finance, incubator or start-up community are appreciated
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at various management levels inside and outside of the organization
Ability to synthesize data to draw conclusions and make recommendations
Ability to understand NXP’s strategic challenges and technological gaps to develop different strategic options
Ability to assess different inorganic strategy methods to strengthen NXP’s existing businesses or long-term innovations
Track record of achievement, with sound thinking and judgment
Highest level of integrity and discretion in managing confidential information
Analytical, self-organized, and motivated working style
