Our new store in Innsbruck is the European flagship, a central community hub and the spearhead of our epicentre strategy.
We’re looking for a Retail & Brand Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our European retail and brand presence, combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You’ll bring a passion for people, strong commercial awareness and the confidence to lead in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment. In this role, you’ll oversee both Retail and Brand Marketing across Europe and take responsibility for the performance of our flagship Innsbruck store. Leading a talented and motivated team - including the Retail Manager - and play a pivotal role in shaping how the Mons Royale brand is experienced by our community, partners and team. You’ll collaborate closely with our North American team and global HQ in New Zealand, helping to drive growth, brand alignment and community engagement across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HQ in New Zealand to inform global strategy and adapt it for the European market.
- Build and manage the Innsbruck and European marketing plans and budgets across all functions, including PR, paid media, events, athletes and content.
- Implement and maintain a strong, consistent brand identity in collaboration with the central team, ensuring alignment across all channels, campaigns and creative.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for the Innsbruck store, leading brand positioning and storytelling to communicate Mons Royale’s values and mission (epicentre strategy).
- Create and manage a clear communication strategy that connects brand, product and community across all touch points.
- Plan and implement retail promotions, sales campaigns and activations, ensuring coordination across all channels.
- Analyse sales data and marketing performance to identify insights and actions that drive store footfall and engagement.
- Manage all aspects of in-store branding, including POS materials and visual merchandising, to ensure a premium and cohesive experience.
- Build and grow local communities through events, partnerships and collaborations - working with internal teams or managing contractors/freelancers to deliver activations and content.
- Support the central team in managing regional athlete and ambassador relationships.
- Oversee the regional and store marketing budgets
- Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers and community partners to execute campaigns and events effectively.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Leadership experience in marketing, specifically retail marketing- ideally in sports, lifestyle or outdoor activities.
- Commercial acumen including P&L management, budgeting and performance tracking.
- Passion for sustainability, natural products and the outdoors.
- Strong communication skills, initiative and team spirit.
- Fluent in English and German.
