The Digital Platforms Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the high performance of the Regional Digital Learning Team. This position is responsible for supporting the effective implementation, administration, and development of digital learning tools and resources.
The Digital Platform Manager will work with the digital learning team to troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital learning standards and practices.
Some of the Key Accountabilities (but not limited to):
- LMS administration and standards control (Currently Canvas).
- Rostering/administration of Classroom Management Software (Currently Dyknow).
- Rostering/administration of regional teaching and learning tools & integrations.
- Liaising with the global team on ongoing administration of global tools in the region.
- Oversight of the regional Canvas sub-account, including course creation & maintenance and oversight of enrolments into courses.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams to provide technical support within the Assignment design process.
- Contribute to platform management and integration of other products such as Panopto, Zoom and Microsoft.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for support via the Halo ticketing system (TBA)
- Work with Teaching staff, the Regional Digital Lead and IT teams to select, implement and review digital platforms across the OSG Region, in line with Global DL governance guidelines.
- Working with the global DL team, develop and maintain a database of approved software.
Essential:
- Experience in digital tool administration.
- Experience in Canvas administration.
- Further training or qualifications in digital tool administration.
- Experience of training staff.
