The Senior Cost Accountant will create a strong basis for management by providing sound analyses, based on a deep involvement in the finance organization. They will develop controlling processes, and improve data quality and transparency of key financial figures.
Main tasks & key accountabilities
You will conduct analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as planning and commenting as part of management reporting
You will contribute to the month-end closing process by focusing on Lenzing’s Headquarters division.
You will act as Controlling Business Partner for major Global Functions
You will contribute to the forecast process with the relevant stakeholders, including preparation of the Group forecast (P&L, BS, CF) on the basis of central value drivers and the forecasts of the individual companies
You will contribute to sub-processes in our annual budget and mid-term planning process including support in strategic decision-making, collaboration with various departments and presentation to the top management
You will provide strategic & operational planning and the derivation & tracking of measures; and you will create, and offer critical scrutiny of, business plans
You will undertake further development of management models and controlling processes, especially planning processes
You will participate in ad-hoc analyses, evaluations, and the preparation of presentations for decision-makers
You hold a degree in Business Studies (ideally with a focus on Controlling); and at least 8 years of relevant professional experience in an international industrial environment, or in Auditing
You are highly skilled in SAP CO and FI
You have also already worked with liquidity planning tools
You have excellent skills in MS Office skills - especially Excel – and experience with management reporting IT tools (business warehouses, Power BI, planning tools)
You are a good team player and an effective communicator, business fluent in English (both written and spoken) and have a minimum of C1 German skills
You are process-oriented, analytical and self-reliant, with a structured approach and the ability to think cross-divisionally
You have project management knowledge in the financial area
You are willing to undertake occasional travel for business purposes

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4.700- with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience.
