Organization & Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant/Office Services Floater to join our firm at our Downtown office. This role involves providing assistance to all of our practice groups, in addition to assisting our Office Services team. Duties & Responsibilities of Position

LAA Duties

  • Preparing client invoices
  • Opening and closing files
  • Drafting and/or preparing letters, memos, and other correspondence as directed\
  • Maintaining B/F systems – electronic and paper-based
  • Organizing files – electronic and paper-based
  • Managing client meetings and various calendars
  • Liaising with external clients

Office Services Duties

  • Reception coverage
  • Keeping stock of general office supplies
  • Assisting with the firm mailing system (outgoing and incoming mail)
  • Miscellaneous administrative support as needed

Required and Ideal Qualifications

  • Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant program
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Experience working in law firms
  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Experience with Elite is an asset
  • Experience with iManage is an asset

Job Details

  • Job type: Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday

Salary

The salary range for this position is $45,000 – $52,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal and market equity.
