Job Description
- Development and implementation of purchasing strategies in the field of electronics to ensure competitiveness and long-term supply security
- International procurement of electronic components and market analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities
- Selection, management, and continuous development of the supplier portfolio
- Negotiation of framework and supply agreements
- Close collaboration and communication with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth procurement processes
- Handling of complaints and enforcement of claims
- Identification and independent implementation of optimization and cost reduction potentials
Qualifications
- Completed technical education or commercial training with additional technical qualification in the field of electronics
- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing for mechanical product groups, with proven negotiation success
- Confident use of MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- High level of commitment, structured working style, and strong quality awareness
- Strong implementation skills and focus on essentials
- Experience with low-cost sourcing in Asia is an advantage
- Willingness to travel

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 3.600 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
